By installing or using the ShiftSheet add-on ("the add-on") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install it. The add-on is published by an independent individual developer, contactable at support@shiftsheet.me.
A free tier with no limit on the number of people: the schedule grid, all validation checks, hour and overtime-hour totals and single-person timesheets. These do not expire. The free tier also shows pay rates and labour cost for 30 days from the first time you run Totals, and generates timesheets for everyone once.
A paid tier, bought once, that keeps pay rates and labour cost, with overtime at the multiplier you set, on and generates every timesheet in one go. Paying gives you a licence code, sent by email after purchase, normally within one working day. You enter it in the add-on's menu. The code is tied to your Google account; anyone else who runs ShiftSheet in the same file enters the same code once. The code is checked inside the add-on and is never sent to us. You may use your code in as many of your own spreadsheets as your own work needs.
Payments are handled by Polar Software Inc., which acts as the merchant of record. Your payment details are handled by them and never reach us.
Refunds: 14 days, no questions asked. Email support@shiftsheet.me within 14 days of purchase and you get your money back. You do not have to explain why.
The add-on is a calculation and checking tool. It is not legal advice, payroll advice, or a compliance product.
The add-on runs inside your spreadsheet. We do not receive, store or process your data — see the privacy policy for the detail. Your spreadsheet content is yours; we claim no rights over it.
The add-on runs on Google's Apps Script platform. If Google Sheets or Apps Script is unavailable, so is the add-on. We do not control that and cannot guarantee uptime.
The add-on makes no network calls, so there is no service of ours that can go down and no check that can fail. Once your code is entered, it keeps working whatever happens on our side, except as set out in section 8. We run no server of our own.
The add-on is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the add-on is limited to the amount you actually paid for it.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud.
You agree not to:
If a licence code is being passed around beyond your own organisation, or a purchase is refunded, we may switch that code off in a later version of the add-on. We will email you first.
You can stop using the add-on at any time by uninstalling it. Everything it wrote into your spreadsheets stays there as ordinary cells and remains readable without it.
We may stop selling or updating the add-on. If we do, the spreadsheets you already have keep working, and an entered licence code stays on, because the add-on checks nothing with us, except as set out in section 8.
If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be announced on this page and emailed to licence holders at the address they bought with.
